Jason Wurtzel, technology director

about Jason

Jason Wurtzel came to Renegade from IconNicholson, where he served as Technical Director. There, he led the engineering team for The Metropolitan Museum of Art's website initiative, and worked on a wide array of internet and systems integration projects for a variety of clients, including EMI Music Publishing, Prada and The Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians. Before IconNicholson, Jason worked crazy hours for Andersen Consulting in San Francisco.

Jason graduated from Cornell University, earning an engineering degree while remaining involved in theatre, music and dance productions. He continues to supplement his technical side with other activities - in 2005 he was a crew member on Christo's Gates installation in Central Park, and last year he appeared on NPR's Studio 360. It's also rumored Jason possesses a penchant for yo-yo-ing, pigeons, and traveling to cold destinations - though not necessarily in that order.

Want Jason to direct you to an interesting piece of interactive art in New York, Copenhagen, or Rotterdam?

Jason's been in an earthquake, walked on a glacier, seen the aurora borealis, sent his name to Mars, but has yet to view the Earth from outer space. Check back often for updates.

You're all so pretty. Where are the rest of you?
